Finding out that the Commodore 64 had been re-imagined in the form of TheC64 brought me back to my enjoyable, if somewhat inadequate BASIC programming skills of the 1980s. The nostalgia factor was enough for me to buy one and get back into BASIC programming with the bonus of loads of classic 8-bit games.

What you will find here is about the Commodore 64 BASIC material that I have gathered for my own my own use. Although I thought I would share it for the benefit of other aspiring C64 BASIC programmers out there.

While it is not necessary to have an original Commodore 64 or TheC64 to program with BASIC, there are links to several Commodore 64 emulators for the PC on the links page that allow you to program with Commodore 64 BASIC with of minimum of fuss
